- Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) provides counseling, psychiatric, consultation and prevention services that facilitate students reaching their academic and life goals and enhancing their personal growth and well-being. CMHC also offers a Crisis Line available 24/7 at 512-471-2255.

- Student Outreach and Support – Helps students and their families during difficult or emergency situations. Assistance includes outreach, advocacy, intervention, support and referrals to relevant campus and community resources.

- 2-1-1 Texas – A comprehensive list of resources in your local community for Texas residents.
- The Longhorn SHARE Project (Support, Healing, Active listening, Reciprocity, Empowerment) – A mental health and social connection-focused peer support program under the Longhorn Wellness Center. They offer a range of non-clinical, non-hierarchical, comfortable spaces for UT students with shared lived experiences or identities to experience mutual support, growth, vulnerability and genuine connection. SHARE Support Specialists are certified in Mental Health First Aid with a semester+ of training in active listening, motivational interviewing, group facilitation and more.
- CMHC Groups, Classes & Workshops – Free groups, classes, and workshops that facilitate self-improvement and the alleviation of suffering. Topics: tobacco cessation, mindful eating, coping with anxiety, dissertation support and more.
- MindBody Labs – Learn how to improve your emotional and physical health with relaxation techniques, meditation, guided imagery and more.

UT Outpost is an on-campus food pantry and career closet for currently enrolled students at UT Austin in need of food or gently used professional clothes.

TimelyCare offers free, 24/7 confidential and real-time virtual counseling via chat and phone.

Texas One Stop is a resource for all financial aid inquiries. If you or your parents have experienced a recent reduction in income or financial resources due to extenuating circumstances and you have already completed the FAFSA, income reduction appeal s for the appropriate academic year may be able to help you receive needed aid. Formerly known as the special circumstances appeal, this allows UT to assess your financial aid and make any adjustments to your financial aid package given your current situation. You may request a PDF via email to onestop@utexas.edu, but please note that PDF processing times may be delayed.

Cost of Attendance Appeals allow students with technology needs to work with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to recalculate your total cost of attendance for the year including your technology needs. Grant or loan funding to support your needs may be available.
