Located on the fifth floor of PAI Hall, our center is a hub for resources to support your ability to thrive, no matter what, as a CNS student. It is a reflection of our college-wide commitment to well-being.

Counselors
If you have a mental health concern, CARE Counselors in the CNS Wellness Center can help. Receive short-term counseling and mental health consultation, plus assistance in connecting to other resources on and off campus. They are also here to guide you around how to manage stress, overcome test anxiety and more.
- Find CARE Counselor contact info to make an appointment.
- If you need immediate help call 512-471-2255 (CALL) to speak with a crisis counselor anytime.
- Access additional UT resources available to support your mental health.

Non-Academic Coordinators
Help is available when life situations begin to impact your academics. Non-Academic coordinators are here to help in events like a personal medical or family emergency, a sudden financial crisis, a major illness or death, an accident or housing issue or any other situation impacting you and your course load. Coordinators can help with things like:
- Providing information, referrals and resources
- Consulting about options (regarding Non-Academic Q-Drops or Non-Academic Withdrawals; Medical Course Load Reductions/Medical Withdrawal Applications for submission to Disability and Access; One-Time Exception (OTE) between the drop deadline and last class day)
- Accessing the Student Emergency Fund
Contact a coordinator via email or appointment
Schedule a time to meet with a Non-Academic Coordinator. Get started as soon as possible to allow time for signatures and collection of needed documentation. Out of courtesy to your peers who also need assistance, please schedule only one appointment!
Student Emergency Fund
The College of Natural Sciences Student Emergency Fund was created to support students with various emergencies. We understand financial help cannot fix all of the unique issues that a student may be facing, but we hope these funds can help students get back on a path of success.
Applications for this fund are currently being accepted through Non-Academic Coordinators. If you have questions about the College of Natural Sciences Student Emergency Fund, please contact one of our Non-Academic Coordinators to discuss all of your options.

Satellite Food Pantry
The CNS Wellness Center has a satellite location of the UT Outpost, with grab-and-go options for shelf-stable small snacks and light meals for students who are experiencing food insecurity. Students who require more substantial support should visit the main UT Outpost, the on-campus food pantry and career closet for currently enrolled students. It is located at 2609 University Avenue (UA9), Suite 3.108, Austin, TX 78712.
