The internal transfer process is for students enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin (UT) who apply for admission to transfer into the College of Natural Sciences (CNS). This process applies to any UT students outside of CNS, as well as students in CNS applying to Computer Science.

 

 Important dates:

January 26, 2018 at 5:00pm - application opens for fall 2018 admission

April 16, 2018 at 5:00pm - application submission deadline

June 15, 2018 by 5:00pm - planned notification date

 

get to know the cns majors and degrees:

Prospective internal transfer students are encouraged to explore the college's major and degree options prior to applying.  Many of the majors in the college offer multiple degree options (BA, BS, BSA), and each degree contains unique requirements.  Some of the majors also have multiple Bachelor of Science (BS) concentrations.

 

Understand the internal transfer process:

Review the resources available to you.  The college has created multiple web pages to assist you with understanding the internal transfer requirements, including how to apply, frequently asked questions, and more.  The College of Natural Sciences will also offer optional internal transfer sessions if you have additional questions about the process.
