Michael Krische

Krische's research focuses on developing novel catalytic reactions and their application towards synthesis of natural products. One area his lab investigates is the use of hydrogenation as a byproduct-free alternative to organometallic reagents in forming C-C bonds.

Krische has won two previous awards from the society: the 2007 Elias J. Corey Award for Outstanding Original Contribution in Organic Synthesis by a Young Investigator and a 2013 Arthur C. Cope Scholar Award.

The ACS, the largest scientific society in the world, will honor Krische at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, in conjunction with their Spring National Meeting in Philadelphia.
