Website & Directory
If you are in need of a website for your lab, program or group, the university has a service called the University Blog Service that allows you to create a site. If you are looking to make changes to your directory entry for the college, see the directory entry wiki page.
Science Communication & Outreach Awards
The college's Visualizing Science awards help raise the profile of UT science, with public displays of images that celebrate the extraordinary beauty of science and the scientific process. Our annual contest seeks out images that help capture the moment where science and art collide. Select images receive cash awards and are publicly displayed within our College community and in prominent spots around campus, and they and other submissions are often featured on the college's website and materials.
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2023 Visualizing Science contest. Find submission guidelines and instructions here. Deadline is August 31, 2023.
Efforts in outreach and public engagement also are eligible for college Outreach Excellence awards. These include activities ranging from public science programs; training for K-12 teachers; working with high school students; developing curricula for public education; creating extraordinary events for the public or alumni; and other activities that engage the community.
