The Natural Sciences Council, Student Engineering Council, and the Disability Cultural Center (DCC) are excited to host a roundtable discussion and creative brainstorming event for sharing perspectives on the disabled experience in arts and science.
Description
The Natural Sciences Council, Student Engineering Council, and the Disability Cultural Center (DCC) are excited to host Disability in STEAM (DiSTEAM), a roundtable discussion and creative brainstorming event for students and faculty to share their perspectives on the disabled experience in both the arts and sciences. DiSTEAM will consist of an in-person meet-n-greet followed by speaker-led group discussions.
Food and drink will be provided.
Participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate on an interactive art piece that centers around the prompts discussed.
