Description

The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) is an opportunity for researchers in their first years of or entering graduate school. The UT Austin Graduate School and the College of Natural Sciences Strategic Research Initiatives office will host this workshop and information session.

Awards are $37,000, plus tuition and fees, renewable up to three years. Eligible applicants are juniors, seniors and first- or second-year graduate students in engineering and the sciences, including social sciences.

The session will be led by experienced grant writer and GRFP reviewer Dr. Angel Syrett and hosted by UT GRFP Coordinator Elizabeth Korves.


Weekly Writers Workshop: Starts Friday, Sept. 15

Students who attend the information session will have the option to sign up for the NSF GRFP Writers' Workshop taught by Dr. Angel Syrett. The workshop is designed to coach graduate and undergraduate researchers through the process of writing and applying for NSF GRFP applications.
