Lori Walker

Lori Walker leads the donor relations and stewardship program for the College of Natural Sciences, bringing over 20 years of experience in higher education to her role. She develops and implements innovative strategies to ensure a comprehensive, best-practice approach to donor stewardship across the college, prioritizing the donor’s experience. Lori takes pride in leading a talented team of donor stewardship professionals. Together, they work closely with fundraising staff within the college and across campus to secure meaningful gifts and celebrate the generosity of our donors. By recognizing our donors and communicating the tangible impact of their gifts, our team aims to build trust, foster lasting relationships and inspire continued support for our students and faculty.

Prior to joining The University of Texas at Austin, Lori worked for the Logistics and Distribution Institute, a new startup, in the College of Business at the University of Louisville, and the Senior Mentor Program in the Department of Geriatric Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
