About Dr. Elston: Dr. Elston received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from The University of Otago in New Zealand. He performed postdoctoral fellowships at the University Tübingen and UC Berkeley. Dr. Elston joined the UT Department of Neuroscience as an Assistant Professor in 2024. His lab focuses on understanding the neural dynamics that enable cognitive control of behavior and value-based decision making.
