Do you like drinking alcohol, but you don’t want to face the “dark side of addiction”? Join a series of UT researchers to learn about the neuroscientific, genetic and social aspects of alcohol drinking and the development of Alcohol Use Disorder!

As an introduction to the seminar series, this week’s speakers will explain the definition of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), the effects of alcohol on the nervous system in brain development and adulthood as well as different brain regions driving addiction development, withdrawal and relapse.

Food and drinks will be provided.
