Appointments are available by request for prospective students who are unable to attend a CNS Information Session or Tour, or have already attended a CNS Information Session or Tour and would like more information. Individual appointments are generally with a CNS Student Recruiter and are intended to share experiences and answer questions about opportunities in the College of Natural Sciences. We do not offer interviews for admission.

Contact CNSAdmissions@austin.utexas.edu to request an individual appointment at least one week in advance of your intended visit. Appointments are Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm only and are based on availability.

All students interested in CNS Honors Programs are encouraged to attend a College of Natural Sciences information session. This session provides an overview of honors programs alongside many other outstanding student resources and opportunities in the college. Register for a session.

Provides an opportunity to visit a class and interact with faculty, advisors, and current students in Computer Science. More information is available on the Computer Science visit page.

All prospective UT Austin students interested in the health care profession are welcome to attend scheduled information sessions, when available. These sessions are in conjunction with Office of Admissions events (such as Longhorn Saturday's in July, September or Longhorn Monday's in October, November, and February) and cover general information about pre-health profession tracks as well as services provided by the Health Professions Office to help with academic and career planning.

During off-peak periods, peer mentors in the Health Professions Office are available to speak with prospective students about health care paths. To inquire about an individual appointment, contact the Health Professions Office at HPO@austin.utexas.edu.

Please contact Martha Berry if you are interested in scheduling an individual appointment to learn more about Human Ecology, Human Development and Family Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, or Textiles and Apparel. Two weeks advance notice required. Appointments may not be available during peak periods.
