About the Musicians
Jiarong Li is a Chinese pianist and collaborative artist whose work spans solo piano, chamber music, teaching and collaborative performance. She recently completed a fellowship at the Yale School of Music and currently serves as a Staff Pianist at the Bowdoin International Music Festival, with additional fellowships at Chamber Music Northwest and the Music Academy of the West. An accomplished chamber musician, she has performed with distinguished artists and appeared in leading concert series across the United States. As a soloist, she is particularly drawn to the works of Bach and Schubert, highlighted by her complete performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations at Manhattan School of Music. An award-winning pianist and dedicated teacher, Jiarong has helped students achieve top competition honors and performances at Carnegie Hall. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano at Manhattan School of Music and holds degrees from the New England Conservatory and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
