The symposium of The University of Texas at Austin Grand Challenge Initiative focuses on shaping the future of ethical AI.

Description

The fifth annual symposium and Good Systems’ signature annual event brings together leaders across sectors and disciplines to explore the future of ethical AI. 

Peter Stone, UT Professor of Computer Science, will be featured at 

  • “Living and Competing with Robots: RoboCup as an Object of Social Science Study”  at 9 a.m.
  • Dr. Sanmay Das’s (Virginia Tech) closing keynote address (“On AI Alignment in the Provision of Social Services: Opportunities and Challenges”) will be followed by a fireside chat with Dr. Stone and begins at noon
