Description

Join Texas Science & Natural History Museum for Día de los Huesos (Day of the Bones), a paleontological spin on Día de los Muertos! 

Discover the secrets of skulls and bones in animal skeletons, and bring bones and teeth for in-person identification by a paleontologist (ID sessions take place from 10am-12pm and 1-3pm). Enjoy hands-on activities like decorating paper dinosaur skulls and creating paper marigolds and mariposas (butterflies), face painting and a 10:15 a.m. performance by The University of Texas Mariachi! Plus, complete a dinosaur scavenger hunt for the chance to win a special prize (while supplies last). 

All Día de los Huesos activities take place from 10am-3pm and are included with museum admission.
