Join Astronomy on Tap ATX for a night full of astronomy talks, astronomy news and more. This month features UT Astronomy professor Dr. J. Craig Wheeler and McDonald Observatory research fellow Dr. Kyle Kaplan.

Join Astronomy on Tap ATX for their 85th show and 10th anniversary, featuring two exciting astronomy talks:
- Dr. J. Craig Wheeler, Astronomy Professor at UT Austin: “The Technological Future of Humanity”
- Dr. Kyle Kaplan, Research Fellow at McDonald Observatory: “Spectroscopy: Revealing the Secrets of Stars”
As always, AoTATX is FREE and open to all ages. The show starts at Celis Brewery at 7:30 pm. You can tweet with #AoTATX85 to ask questions during the show.
Astronomy on Tap ATX (AoTATX) is held on the second or third Tuesday of every month at Celis Brewing at 8:00 pm during summer and 7:30 pm the rest of the year. AoTATX is currently organized by a committee of Austin-based astronomers.
AoTATX features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe. In addition to talks, each AoTATX has trivia, prize giveaways, Astronomy in the News and plenty of time to interact with the presenters and other astronomers in the audience.
