Andrew Pekosz, Ph.D. will be the speaker for the LaMontagne Center for Infectious Disease’s annual John Ring LaMontagne Symposium. The title of Dr. Pekosz’s talk is Virus Surveillance and the Identification of Novel Genetic Mutations that Facilitate Virus Circulation

Dr. Pekosz is Professor and Vice Chair at the W. Harry Feinstone Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. National media have frequently quoted Dr. Pekosz for his expertise related to the implications of COVID-19.

The event is free, but seating is limited and must be reserved. The Symposium will also be livestreamed, and a link placed on the LCID website the day of the event.
