Join Brackenridge Field Lab for this fun and unique experience to enhance understanding of local biodiversity.
Description
Brackenridge Field Lab is excited to announce the Spring 2026 BioBlitz on Saturday, April 25. A bioblitz is a community event pairing citizen scientists with experts through apps such as the iNaturalist app. The BioBlitz is open to all, regardless of experience. This is a self-guided drop-in event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., suitable for ages 11 and up.
Activities for all ages include learning how to use apps like iNaturalist and participating in hands-on educational activities from 10 am - noon. Join us for a nighttime blacklighting insect survey from 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. (ages 11 & up).
