Description

Chautauqua is an annual tradition bringing together speakers from interdisciplinary fields to explore a topic of contemporary interest. Organized by students, each event has a theme, and this year’s theme is “War and Will: How much agency do we have in our society?” This interdisciplinary event will delve into the profound questions surrounding individual agency in the face of societal and governmental control and explore how various societal forces shape and constrain bodies, choices and ultimately people’s free will.

  • Dr. Paul Edgar
