Each year, the College of Natural Sciences recognizes outstanding students, and members of the community nominate students for our awards.
Description
Faculty and staff are invited to nominate outstanding College of Natural Sciences students for the 2026 CNS Student Distinction Awards. The program has expanded this year to recognize excellence earlier in students' academic careers, making sophomores, juniors and seniors eligible for nomination.
Students may be nominated in one of four categories:
- Research
- Service & Leadership
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship
- Community Engagement & Mentorship
Nominations may include either a brief letter of recommendation or responses to the prompts provided in the nomination form. A thoughtful paragraph is sufficient.
