Nicole Barrios

Nicole Barrios is the development writer for the Office of Development in the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin.

Prior to joining CNS Development, Nicole advised students and coordinated scholarships and teaching certificates as the Senior Academic Advisor in the UTeach Natural Sciences Educator Preparation Program. Before her work at UT, she was a Success Coach in the School of Natural Sciences at St. Edward’s University. 

Nicole is a graduate of the Student Affairs in Higher Education Master's Program at Texas State University. Prior to entering the higher education field, she worked as a journalist at the Austin American-Statesman newspaper after earning a bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Texas State as a proud Terry Scholar.
