Biography

Maggie Gilburg joined Texas Science & History Museum in January 2025 as Director of Development to oversee fundraising for the museum’s priority projects. She brings a wealth of experience in fund development and organizational leadership. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Development for The Wittliff Collections at Texas State University. From 2017 to 2022, she was the Director of Development at the Harry Ransom Center, where she played a pivotal role in fundraising during the What Starts Here campaign. Her career also includes serving as the lead fundraiser for the LBJ School from 2015 to 2017, five years as the first Director of Development for The Texas Tribune, and in membership and major gifts roles at the Austin Museum of Art and Allentown Art Museum.
