April Hampton-Perez

April Hampton Perez rejoined the UT Austin Gift and Estate Planning office in Fall 2024 as the Executive Director of Gift Planning for the College of Natural Sciences and University Priorities teams. 

Prior to joining UT, April served as Assistant Vice President of Development for her alma mater, Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and from 2007-2013 she served on the UT Austin Gift and Estate Planning team as a director. She has 30 years of experience in higher education fundraising and is passionate about working with alumni and friends to make meaningful gifts that meet their philanthropic and financial goals. April received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southwestern University and earned a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston. 

Her husband is a proud UT McCombs School of Business graduate.
