What do FRI Ambassadors do?

The goal of the FRI Ambassador Program is to spread the word about the Freshman Research Initiative! Ambassadors represent FRI by telling others about their experience in the program at their high school over the winter break and at other events on campus.Ambassadors.jpg

  • Are you excited about your FRI research and interested in telling others about your work?
  • Would you like to visit your high school and let your former teachers and current students know what you've been doing at UT?
  • Would you like to represent FRI on campus?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you should apply!

Who is eligible to be an ambassador?

Current and former students and peer mentors are all eligible to apply.

When do FRI Ambassadors do their work?

We have many events, year-round, both on and off-campus, that FRI Ambassadors can help with. For example, Ambassadors represent FRI at Explore UT, at Alumni Events, the undergraduate research forum, and for recruitment at Summer Orientation. We need your help getting the word out about what FRI does!
