Endowments at The University of Texas at Austin are a sound investment in a better future. With an endowed gift, you provide a predictable, steady source of funding over time for something you believe in, such as financial aid, merit awards for students, or support for faculty and research.
Your gift is invested, never spent, and each quarter a distribution is made to your chosen program or area. Investment earnings help the endowment value grow over time to keep pace with inflation and maintain your endowment’s spending power.
There are many endowment opportunities and funding levels available. Choosing what your endowed gift will support is simply a matter of selecting a program that matches your interests. From faculty support to undergraduate research, graduate fellowships to department or program support, your CNS legacy is up to you.
Faculty Endowments
Partner with us to attract and retain exceptional faculty whose teaching and research inspire today’s students and prepare them to be tomorrow’s science leaders. Awarded to faculty who have distinguished themselves as academic leaders, endowed Chairs and Professorships provide the annual support necessary for these scholars to remain at the forefront of their field. Often used for program development to supplement budget allocations, professorships encourage faculty to expand their activities and those of their students in the areas of teaching and research.
