Updates

 

For students on the 2016-2018 and later catalogs:

  1. Apply for the Food and Society Certificate: Apply Here
  2. You will receive a SAN (Secure Academic Note) when your application is approved. When you recieve this SAN, contact your academic advisor to have the certificate added to your degree profile
  3. Begin taking Food and Society courses with your UT coursework. See the Required Coursework tab. Classes taken before applying will count towards the certificate.
  4. Keep a record of your certificate progress to stay up to date with what you have completed. Contact your advisor for any questions.
  5. During your last semester of Food and Society coursework, complete the Food and Society Completion Survey
  6. Once the semester ends, the certification program will process and the certificate will be added to your transcript.

 

For students on the 2014-2016 or prior catalogs:

  1. Begin taking Food and Society courses along with your other UT coursework.
  2. If you are a BSA student who is using this certificate to fulfill their minor/certificate requirement for graduation, you must contact your academic advisor to have the certificate added to your degree audit.
  3. Keep a record of your certificate progress to stay up to date with what you have completed. Contact your advisor for any questions.
  4. During your last semester of Food and Society coursework, complete the Food and Society Certificate Completion Survey
  5. Once the semester ends, the certification program will process and the certificate will be added to your transcript.
