About Us
SAHPA is short for South Asian Health Professions Association. Our prime objective is to prepare students for the various health professions by providing information and an opportunity for networking among students with common interests and backgrounds. In SAHPA you can meet people at all stages leading to professional training—from those who are just starting out in a pre-health curriculum at the University to those who have gained acceptance into their desired professional programs. Our organization has several meetings throughout the year during which many health professionals are invited to speak about their experiences. In addition to these meetings, we have various socials that offer an opportunity for interaction among members as well as other university groups.
