About Us

To offer healthcare students the opportunity to obtain first hand medical experience while providing free basic medical services to communities in Central America and Mexico. We aim to make the experience as easy as possible for new trippers. The organization assists students in meeting fellow GMT'ers before leaving, conducting training workshops, and opportunities in financial aid. After the trip, GMT helps trippers stay in contact through meetings and social events. Also, we provide a forum for continued involvement in helping GMT service communities in a variety of ways: recruiting new trippers, obtaining medical donations, etc.
