About Us

The Child and Family Council is composed of students who are interested in promoting and learning about issues, careers, and volunteer opportunities that involve children and/or families. As a social organization, it meets approximately once a month, and takes part in such events as Longhorn Halloween, Family Forward Christmas Party, and a yearly faculty luncheon. CFC’s meetings include guest speakers and discussions of careers related to young children.
