About Us

Alpha Phi Sigma is a premedical honor society founded on the principles of scholarship, service, and leadership. This organization is to be an integral resource for the students at UT-Austin by providing up-to-date information about the medical field, community service contacts, leadership experiences, and a healthy social atmosphere. The UT Leadership Board honored APS as “The Best Professional Organization” for the 1999-2000 school year. APS functions as a non-profit, member- and community-oriented honor society that is based on the philosophy of improving society by means of improving each individual.
