CNS Academic Community Programs is an academic enrichment center housed within the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) that serves as an umbrella organization for educational support programs designed to increase academic success, inclusiveness & multicultural understanding in the sciences. ALL students in the college are eligible to take advantage of community resources regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, educational level, or personal ability. |
Mission Statement:
CNS Academic Community Programs aims to create a supportive academic community that maximizes success for ALL students in the College of Natural Sciences while promoting inclusiveness, understanding, and cross-cultural effectiveness. The College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin understands that societal benefits are greatest when diverse opinions and perspectives are considered. In that regard, UT will strive to be a leader in educating scientific, technological, and mathematical professionals who appreciate and contribute to a workforce that reflects the demographics of our country so as to encourage the greatest possible advances in scientific research and discoveries.
