The Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Facilities functions as the College clearinghouse for all matters relating to research activities and facilities projects. In addition to these broad areas this office also contributes to the general administration of business in the College of Natural Sciences.
As the College coordination point for research activities, this office handles all requests for matching funds, approves of sponsored project forms and other grant/proposal authorizations, and disseminates research related information to departments and organized research units in the College. We also coordinate the nomination process for several research related awards during the year.
The Associate Dean's office oversees and approves of all College related renovations, building projects, which encompass; faculty recruitment space needs, teaching and research labs, and shared facilities. Dr. Riley and his staff works closely with Project Management Construction Services (PMCS) and University administration to prioritize, monitor, and otherwise manage facilities planning, maintenance, and construction for the College.
Please feel free to contact us should you have questions regarding College activities in research, facilities or other related areas.
