Description: This Maymester program provides students interested in early childhood development an opportunity to explore the Reggio Emilia Approach (REA) to childhood education as part of a 4-week intensive study experience.Through lectures and visits to the sites that inspired Loris Malaguzzi, the REA developer, participants in the program will gain in-depth knowledge of this innovative philosophy of early childhood education.
The program takes place in the city of Reggio Emilia, with visits to Rome, Parma, Bologna and Florence.
