The Freshmen Scholarship Application (FSA) is required of applicants who wish to be considered for any/all available merit-based scholarships offered by the University of Texas, the College of Natural Sciences, and all CNS Honors Programs. The FSA goes to the University's Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS).

After you apply, the Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) reviews your application to determine your eligibility for scholarships. Representatives from CNS scholarship committees that administer departmental, honors program,and college-wide scholarships will also review your scholarship information in addition to your application file.  There is not a separate scholarship application for College of Natural Sciences applicants.

All applicants interested in scholarships should also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Applicants who do not submit the FAFSA application are less likely to be eligible for and/or considered for scholarships.
