It is important to note that there are two different categories for current student scholarships.  Continuing students can explore scholarship opportunities within their College (CNS), and students can also explore scholarship opportunities within the university at large (UT Austin).

College of Natural Sciences Current Student Scholarships

• The Common Application for scholarships awarded by the College of Natural Sciences to current students. A complete application consists of the online portion and at least one (1) faculty letter of recommendation. The deadline is April 15 of every year. All materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received by this deadline.

Univeristy of Texas at Austin Current Student Scholarships

• The Common Application for continuing and transfer students for scholarships funded by the university. The deadline is typically April 1.
