The CNS Health Science Honors Program (HSH) is UT’s first honors program specifically for students interested in the health professions. HSH is highly selective, admitting about fifty students each year. The Benefits of HSH HSH offers exceptional students with an interest in health professions a unique opportunity to enrich their undergraduate education at UT. HSH students have priority access to:
The program challenges students to find the right professional school and career by exploring health-related sciences and professions through faculty and health-care professional led seminars and workshops. HSH endeavors to make students' experiences at UT everything college should be by creating the atmosphere of a small school while offering the resources and advantages of a large research university. The HSH Community HSH offers a welcoming community. Each student has a faculty mentor and staff academic advisor. By working closely with both faculty and students, HSH students are introduced to many different areas of the health professions. The HSH student organization also has the potential to organize frequent social activities including movie nights, dances, and intramural sports. |
