Academics

Deans' Scholars can earn honors degrees in any of the majors offered in the College of Natural Sciences, but every Dean's Scholars Honors degree plan includes the following:

An Introduction to Research Methods course
Interdisciplinary seminars developed specifically for Dean's Scholars
A Technical Writing course
Each student must take 6 honors-level courses from at least 4 math and science disciplines
Hands on research and a written honors thesis
At least 30 hours of elective hours chosen by the student under the guidance of a faculty advisor
