Results of Mid-Year Salary Increases January 2010

In late February 2010, Vice Provost Judith Langlois published unofficial findings on mid-year salary increases (January 2010).

From the Vice Provost's Gender Equity Blog:

Percent of faculty receiving mid-year increase 38%
Percent of male faculty receiving mid-year increase 35%
Percent of female faculty receiving mid-year increase 47%
Average increase for male faculty who received increases 6%
Average increase for female faculty who received increases 7%

We have calculated and confirmed the corresponding figures for the College of Natural Sciences:

Percent of CNS faculty receiving mid-year increase 45.25%
Percent of CNS male faculty receiving mid-year increase 42.90%
Percent of CNS female faculty receiving mid-year increase 56.06%
Average increase for CNS male faculty who received increases 5.58%
Average increase for CNS female faculty who received increases 6.82%
