The Office of Advising & First-Year Initiatives includes all advisors, such as those in the First Year Advising Center and the Transitional Advising Center. It also administers first year success and retention programs including FIGs (First Year Interest Groups), Orientation and Academic Fair, Gone to Texas, Math Readiness/ALEKS and other first year programs and advising and student services in the college.
