The college's Office of Communications offers strategic communications, print and web design, writing, and media relations services to the College of Natural Sciences. Our goal is to promote public awareness of college research, teaching and outreach programs. We do so by working closely with the dean, the university's Office of Communications, the college's departmental communications professionals, and other communicators across campus. PublicationsTexas Science is the daily online news magazine for the college. On Texas Science, you'll find news about how the college is re-inventing science education, discovering and innovating, improving lives and creating community. There are two enewsletters from the college. The monthly Texas Science Newsletter is sent to all college alumni, faculty, staff and friends. The monthly Texas Science: Student Edition is distributed to students, and features student-related content. If you would like to receive either or both of the newsletters, sign up here. Focus on Science print magazine featured the college's bold and innovative research, education and outreach programs, faculty accomplishments and news from supporters and friends. This magazine has been discontinued. Design ServicesThe Communications group is committed to providing high quality, innovative print and web design services to the College of Natural Sciences. The design team develops magazines, newsletters, posters, brochures, logos, annual reports, web sites and more. Media RelationsFor Faculty, Students and Staff. We can help increase the public awareness of your research project, educational program or event through writing and distributing news releases to the appropriate media. We foster and maintain relationships with journalists locally, nationally and around the world.
