The College of Natural Sciences believes that study abroad is an excellent way for students to amplify their regular course of study.

Wherever and however you want to go abroad, therefore, we're here to help you find the length of time that makes the most sense, find the right country, figure out the level of support and familiarity you want, and take and get credit for the courses you need to stay on track with your plans for graduation.

We can also help you continue to get the financial aid for which you've qualified as an in-resident student, and we can help you find and apply for scholarships to defray the costs.

There are a few simple steps you can take to begin the process.

  • Sit down with Elisabeth Kihlberg, the International Science Coordinator for the College of Natural Sciences.
  • Look at the Popular Programs page on this site.
  • Search the database of the university's Center for Global Educational Opportunities (C-GEO), which has information on hundreds of international programs and is searchable by region, type of program, area of study, and language of instruction.
  • Attend an information session at C-GEO.
  • Read some of the stories of other students from the college who've gone abroad.
