The college and the university award a multitude of scholarships to natural sciences students each year (this past year, the college alone gave out just over 100 scholarships totalling $191,000).

Some awards are merit-based, others are need-based, and many are available only to students who've chosen a particular area of study or who meet particular biographical criteria.

By accurately filling out these forms, you will be considered for a variety of  college- and university-administered scholarships:
  • The Common Application for scholarships awarded by the College of Natural Sciences to current students. A complete application consists of the online portion and two (2) faculty letters of recommendation.  The deadline is March 1 of every year. All materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received by this deadline.
  • The Common Application for continuing and transfer students for scholarships funded by the university.  The deadline is typically April 1.
  • The Common Application for incoming first-year students for scholarships funded by the university. The deadline is December 1 of the applicant’s senior year in high school.
