Your education at the College of Natural Sciences doesn't consist only of what happens in the classrooms, the labs, and the libraries. As a scientist, your classroom is the universe, and your job isn't just to study and experiment but to communicate, educate and collaborate.

You can, for instance:

• Help kids see the beauty and the fascination of science.
  
• Become a mentor, or find a mentor.
  
• Collaborate with your fellow enthusiasts in the Astronomy Students Association, in the Pre-Veterinary Association, in the South Asian Health Professions Association.
• Go out into the Austin public schools and bring the joys of science to kids.
• Help mentor kids as they strive to win awards at the Science Olympiad.
