Students and Student Organizations

The College has the second largest student population on campus with some 8,300 undergraduate,1,700 master students and houses two of the four largest majors, Computer Sciences and Biological Sciences. Our students' interests are diverse, extending from the far reaches of space to the depths of the ocean. They study phenomena as fleeting as a nanosecond and as enduring as a geologic age and discover truths in the laboratory, in the field, and in mathematical equations. But most importantly, the students along with the faculty, all share the common goal of understanding how our world works and, in doing so, improving the lives of those in it.

A variety of student organizations exist within the College. Corporations have the opportunity to seek out targeted student populations that form these organizations and become involved with supporting their missions, events, and operations.

Student organizations serve academic and service missions within the College of Natural Sciences. Please visit their Web site or contact Judy Davis (judy.davis@cns.utexas.edu) in the Undergraduate Student Services division for more information concerning organizations of interest.
