Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (UGTA)
The Career Design Center is looking for bright, motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate teaching assistants to help us facilitate our fall course, NSC 109 (Your Future as a Scientist). This course is focused on helping students (primarily first year students) develop their professional identity, and to provide them the tools and skills they need to research future career fields and opportunities.
HOURS: Up to 10 hours per week

Customer Service Student Assistant
Serve as primary front desk contact to students, employers, professional schools, staff, etc.
Duties can include: Assist students, employers, professional school reps and staff in person, by phone, fax, or email. Process cooperative education registrations and payments, alumni payments, Schedule and maintain appointment calendar for Director and Advisors, answer general questions regarding on-campus recruiting and professional school applications. Assist with entering job postings into database, library management, administrative staff as needed, and/or other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience working in a busy office (front desk) setting, basic computer skills, customer service skills, and use of general office equipment.
