JAMP
The Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP) is a special program created by the Texas Legislature to support and encourage highly qualified, economically disadvantaged students pursuing a medical education.

2012-2013 Application Cycle
  • May 1 - September 30, 2012

Spring Application Workshops:
To learn more about the application process for 2012-2013, please plan to attend the following application workshops.
  • Thursday, April 5:   6 – 7 pm, GRG 102
  • Wednesday, April 18:  6 – 7 pm, GRG 102
Overview of the Program Benefits*
  • Scholarship money during remaining undergraduate studies
  • Paid summer internships at a Texas Medical School
  • Mentoring to prepare for medical school while attending college
  • Admission to a Texas medical school (if all program requirements are met)
  • Annual scholarship money during medical school

Window of Eligibility
Students are eligible to apply for the program between the spring semester of their first year of college and the fall semester of their second year of college. (Actual dates are May 1st - September 30th)
