What is the Difference Between a Co-op and an Internship ?
Co-ops are designed to be repeated. They run on an alternating work/school schedule and have specific requirements that must be met to gain approval by the NS Career Services Office and the academic department.
Though internships may also be related to your academic studies, there is more flexibility about when and where you can work and there is not a formal approval process for participation in an internship.
