The Frank C. Erwin, Jr., Special Events Center is located at the intersection of MLK and Red River.
Parking is available on the UT Campus and in State of Texas employee parking lots near the Erwin Center. The Erwin Center also has a limited number of handicap parking spaces.
The Erwin Center is equipped for persons with mobility concerns. Persons needing assistance should go to the Red River Street entrance to be directed to conveniently located elevators and wheelchair seating.

College of Natural Sciences Graduation Ceremony
The College holds commencement ceremonies in fall and spring for its bachelor's graduates.
Location: Frank C. Erwin, Jr. Special Events Center
No tickets are required. There is no limit to the number of family and friends you may invite to either ceremony.
Alert: New Security Procedures
Because of heightened security concerns after recent national events, additional safety procedures will be in place for all commencement ceremonies and all commencement venues.
Approval of your graduation application consitutes approval to participate in the graduation ceremony. There is no need to apply to walk. Graduation candidates should arrive one hour prior to the start of the ceremony and enter at the lower-level Red River entrance.
Walker applicants approved to participate in the ceremony should arrive one hour prior to the start of the ceremony and enter at the lower-level Red River entrance. Walker applicants must apply to graduate during the following semester.
Academic regalia is required for all ceremony participants. Bachelor's regalia may be purchased from the University Co-op. The tassel color for BA and BS graduates in the College of Natural Sciences is gold/yellow. Bachelor's regalia must be ordered by the published deadline.
Do not bring personal items such as purses or coats to the ceremony. There is no secure area in which to leave them. We recommend carrying cell phones and keys on wrist bands or in clothing with pockets.
A professional photographer will be present to photograph each graduation candidate as he or she walks across the stage to be congratulated. You will have the option of purchasing photographs. There is no obligation to do so.
