Students completing the Bachelor of Science degree can satisfy their foreign language/foreign culture requirement in one of three ways:
- Second-semester proficiency in a foreign language
- First-semester proficiency in a foreign language, and a three-hour course in the culture of the same language area (from approved list below)
- Two three-hour courses chosen from one foreign culture category (from approved list below)
