Congratulations on finishing the initial ALEKS Chemistry assessment, you should have a better idea of what topics to review.  Keep your eye on the final goal: to prepare yourself for Chemistry at UT. Review as many topics as deeply as possible before the semester begins, especially stoichiometry. There will be enough new information during the semester without having to review the basics!

What if I do not obtain the minimum required ALEKS Chemistry score for course placement?

The next step is to keep going: now ALEKS becomes a personal tutor powered by an artificial intelligence engine that gives you practice problems and tutorials specific to your needs. ALEKS knows your weak areas and provides you ways to strengthen them.

You may self-remediate in an attempt to improve your score using the ALEKS and UT Learning Modules. You can also get help from your mentor-tutor on specific chemistry topics.

You must still obtain the minimum prerequisite ALEKS Chemistry placement score by 7 AM September 3rd or you will be dropped and may lose your place in the course.
